A pillar reinstallation 2007 335i coupe

Hey guys does anyone have any idea how to finesse these 2 clips into the holes for the A pillar? i cant seem to even get close with the A pillars

You kind of have to make sure the clips are aligned to the hole and you can also feel them before you push hard on it to seat in place.
