I have a weird issue with my lights. I converted them to LED( by using these canbus bulbs https://www.amazon.ca/NATGIC-Canbus-..._dv_rp_0_3_t.) and now randomly when I hit the brakes for a while with my headlights on, only my right side brakelights stay on. When I probed the sockets and the connectors to the harness, I get a random 4.5 to 5V. Yet when the brakes are triggered they push to 18V. Everything else works as normal. The turns hyperflash for like 1 second then work as normal. I swapped the brakes to the incandescent ones again and they act the same way.
Keep in mind this JUST started. Never had this issue even with the incandescent OEMs. I know there are 2 fuses for left and right side of the car. But im pretty sure that would affect all of the lights not just the right side brake lights.. Any ideas? Side note. All of my rear lights are the SAME bulbs. Only ever happens to the brakelights. And it seems to be always the right side when I check. Though it could also be the lefts too amd they just function as normal when leave to check |
