I just had the eibach pro springs installed on my 335xi.
The ride is a lot "smoother" and it also handles a lot better.
I will post more tomorrow. too tired right now
also please note that the springs havent fully settled yet

I bought them from another member used. (they are the springs for a 335i not an Xi, that's why theres no positive front rake.)
and they were under $200,

I love the ride quality, It's a lot more comfortable than stock.

So the stock 335 sport springs are ok to use on our cars?

only replaced the springs, its not a dramatic drop so the struts and shocks in the back should be fine. they are a higher spring rate so the length of the actual spring doesnt matter as much.

id be very curious in comparing the eibach spring rates to the HR sport springs for the XI. Are the eibachs linear or progressive??

i think they are linear, but dont quote me on that, i know they are alot higher of a spring rate, they took alot more to compress then the hrs.

Not really. I did notice that the car handles bumps more smoothly.
For instance if I go over a bump the car seems to bounce a little bit more, but I don't get jolted!
I don't know who else to explain it.

I also installed the Eibach 335i springs on my Xdrive 335, and I love it. The car sits very level, and offers a very smooth ride. I have pics somewere...

Yeah the ride is no where near as harsh as it is with coil overs.

Yes they will fit, the only difference between the H&R springs for the I and Xi is mainly the rake (which stays the same) and a hair of a difference with the weight.
I chose Eibach because of all of the positive reviews.

No the shocks shouldnt wear out that much faster. Don't believe all the vendor bullshit you read on this forum. Especially if they are pitching a product they are selling
