Any shops in texas that can fix my car without blaming aftermarket parts.

Have had a vibration for over 2 years now and it has become pointless to take it to shops. They all pretty much want to strip off all my after market parts such as my Koni shocks/struts, aftermarket rotors and textar pads. Then they want to put OEM parts on at 10x the cost.

I need a shop that knows aftermarket parts and does not blame something because they don't like the brand.

Sorry man, I'm south of Houston. EuroPower here is who I used and they are very familiar with Foreign performance.

The rotors could be the problem, if you feel the vibration when braking. So maybe you need new rotors and pads, aftermarket or not.

That's not normal unless you are clocking lots of miles or lots of stop and go and maybe splashing through water while they are very hot. I have 6 years/25K miles on my rotors, still the originals. My son has the identical car and age and he has 35K miles, still on original rotors. So, maybe the rotors are poor quality or there is something else going on, but if the vibration is when you are braking, then it most likely is a braking issue.

My E30 went through several rotors under warranty, but that was in Florida where you did splash through water with hot rotors, plus I think the E30 rotors had that problem anyway.

Vibration under braking? If so, try a bed procedure (if you haven't tried before).

I moved to San Antonio a couple of years ago, and I always cringe at moving to a new area because it means I have to find a new shop that I can trust.

I tried numerous shops all over the region, including up in your area at BMW of Austin for routine maintenance just to see how service was.

If you are willing to drive down to San Antonio, I would absolutely recommend German Car Specialists (www.mygermancarsa.com).

Berk, the owner, and his master mechanics Mark and Mike, can square you away. Honest work, completely transparent in the process, and the prices are very fair.

Give them a call and tell them George with the black 2006 330i sent you.

Care to elaborate on the vibration? At what speeds does it happen? When braking? It should truly be easy to do yourself for the most part, saving you a ton of money. But vibrations can be almost anything w/o being specific.

I came across these guys and from the looks of their website I would bring my car here. I am from the northeast and just looking around, so excuse me if this is not drivable as Texas is a big state.

I warn you that ABR is expensive. However, all of their works comes with a guarantee, and they do awesome work. I don't take my car to them just because I can't afford it, but I've seen what they do.
