I remember getting passed by a 458 on the Autobahn between Stuttgart and Munich while we were doing 155mph, I'd assume he was doing vMax, or close to 200mph. That differential was pretty scary, he was closing on people before they knew he was there and having to brake heavily fairly often.

The speed differentials this thing would create are just stupid and unusable. This is purely for bragging rights, no owner will ever see those speeds. Should have just geared it for one mile an hour faster than the Bugatti and shown how much quicker it was.

Still I would rather see 0-300-0 and such data, or 200-300 data (in km, miles whatever)

I think that says more about the true power and potential.

I mean in the race agains bugatti, the top speeds are very much dependant on how the situation is, if they do 2 or 1 run etc.
But that 0-400-0kmh where koenigsegg obliterated the Bugatti Chiron with 6 seconds or so (on a 42 sec time) in 2017(?) said so much more and showed so much more difference. And Koenigsegg improved on that time 2 times later again, setting it to under 32 seconds, so 10 sec. or about 33% faster than the original Chiron time
Of course we don't know what a current Chiron can do now on that run but my guess it that they will never try that again

Of course track laptimes would also be very interesting, but my guess is that some of these cars will get beaten by other cars costing less than 20% (like radicals for instance and other models than lean more to racecar tech)

Can it go pass 200mph??

This is old news, but there is huge difference when comes to higher speeds, just for example huge width on tires, downforce, etc

yeah of course several variables to consider at high speed especially the downforce required.

no idea if cla can go past 200 ... maybe with few aero bits and tweaks

This.is.ridiculous.
330 mph x feet per second factor of 1.467 = 484 feet per second

Yes, just bragging rights.
Most of the time, the owner will slow drive that down Rodeo Drive with a hot blonde by his side.
Also, will be parked outside some paparazzi restaurant.

I live near Stuttgart and drive the A81 daily. I frequently hit my limiter of 168mph (270kmh) and still get passed by Porsches doing faster. The nice thing is people here pay a lot more attention to the traffic in front and behind them, and get out of the way of faster cars. Good car culture. This would never work in the US with slow-poke left lane drivers who won't move for anyone.

I can’t imagine the balls on the test driver who will prove it can go to 330 mph!
