Just curious - are you looking to use a stock exhaust for customization ? Or did you add an aftermarket exhaust and got rid of your OEM ?

I bought my m240i used (1,200 miles) and the dude put Cobra axle back pipes with no muffler. It's too loud so want to go back to a stock system. What do folks do with their stock systems when they buy after-market systems?

Most people hold onto them for when the time comes to sell or trade in their cars.

They return everything to stock and sell all their aftermarket mods.

However - there is a group of people who will sell their fully modded cars. Those are the people who you should ask if they want to sell their stock exhaust.

Check here for other listings of people selling other OEM parts.

Also don't forget to keep checking Ebay for an OEM exhaust. Good amount of "junk yards" who sell parts from wrecked cars on Ebay

keep in mind that most aftermarket catbacks require you to cut the stock midpipe and attaching from there... so you might not get a full OEM exhaust. just an FYI. at that point, I would just look for another aftermarket system that is quieter.
