I definitely expect for red calipers to be available at some point.

Yeah this makes no sense whatsover - was so excited to finally have the US configurator up and running in September only to notice this inexplicable absurdity. How can an M brake option be a no cost option on the lower trim (230i) but not available at all on the M240i. Someone clearly made a mistake. Emailed BMW Genius about it 4 days ago but yet to hear back.

Agree mate 100% !! This is madness. Red should be the STANDARD. Shall we initiate a petition ???!!!

The Canadian market seems to mimic the European in terms of specs (e.g. the M emblems on the side panels).

That must be the M240i that BMW Canada is showing at Toronto area dealers starting this week. All of the BMW Canada cars get delivered to that dealership before they are sent to BMW Canada.

It looks really good in that video.

I wish the same. But BMW is probably going to save the "luxury" features like the ventilated seats and power trunk the the higher number models.

That angle + color are gorgeous. This thing looks 10x better than it's predecessor.

I wonder if high performance tire and cooling pack (seen on that Canadian video) comes with red brakes? Doubt it but that would be cool. Car looks amazing btw.

First year of M340i we only had the blue calipers, red was added later so I assume same will happen with the G42.

My guess is they're available in other markets for now and will be made available down the road. No idea why.

amazing how you M240i lovers are craving for Red Calipers.

For my 230i order last week I had choice w/extended Shadowline option. I selected 19" bi-color wheels so selected Blue calipers since my exterior color is Blue & looked better than Red for me. But if Black wheels I could see Red calipers instead

It's called RCM package (red caliper mania)
