G42 wheel specs?

Do we know any of the full wheel specs with offsets yet? Trying to gauge if my M340i winter set would fit G42. Personally I would go high performance pack with 893M so most interested in those specs.

This is from the order guide, but no offsets included:
19" Double spoke bicolor style 893M, w/high performance non run flat tires
Option package code:ZTK
Code: 1W0
Style: 893M
Front: 19x8.5, 245/35 R19
Rear: 19x9.5, 255/35 R19

Finally, real wheel sizes on the 2!

I hope they're not freaky offsets like the F22.

Yeah these are great OEM wheel sizes with hopefully decent offsets.

I'm hoping an 18" wheel will fit and clear the brakes for a winter setup.

Agreed. I am wondering if the 18" snow setup I have for my M240i will fit?

I believe all G series BMW are now 5x112 bolt pattern so prior F series 5x120 will not fit. I assume G42 will follow this change.

My dealer told me that if the wheel part number on the new 3 Series matches the ones on the new 2-Series, the backspacing (ET) and of course bolt pattern will match. All this to day, to shop for new wheels on TireRack or similar would merely be a search for 3-Series compatible wheels.

I'm still not comfortable buying new wheels yet, though. Everything rests on that ET and how it relates to the fender! If one is particular, it's a nervous process sometimes to spend that money sight unseen.

This is a very helpful website, not up to date for G42, but it will not be long.

I agree. The G42 might have the same offsets as the M340, but we don't yet know how the wheel sits in relation to the fender. This piece will be critical to know for anyone wanting to run an aggressive offset.

Curious if anyone knows what kind of tires come with the all season run flat option? Trying to decide if I should run 2 sets or not (get some snow in the Midwest but nothing too crazy).

Traditionally it has been Pirelli Cinturato but could be different on G42.

Yes, I believe this is what they'll be going with based off other models.

Any one know if it's the 5x112 bolt pattern? Sounds like all the new G series are but just checking.

I want to grab a set of the floating center caps

It looks like the M Performance car had the 795M which I have seen on the M340.

I’m more curious if we will be able to squeeze 9.5” front and 10.5” rear??

Will 18s be too small for regular duty? I learnt with my M3 18s are perfect. (No winter or snow here...)

I am waiting on my 230 Msport. I want better wheels, so I asked dealer to research ET on that HiPo wheel set for the M240...893M wheel...

It's a 19x8.5 with an ET of 25 for the fronts. Rears are 19x9.5 with an ET of 30.

I am hoping my O.Z. wheel choice of 19x8.5 ET 30 fits up front.

That's great! Thanks.

Sounds like my M340i winter wheels at 19x8 ET30 will fit, maybe need 10-12 mm spacers but still works.
