That side blade thing just looks out of place no matter how hard I squint. The rear diffuser looks even less functional than previous versions BMW has offered. It's like they aren't even trying anymore.
A certain crowd, I'm sure, will dump a bunch of money dressing up a non-M car, I'm just not part of that crowd. I might be in the minority thinking that M240i actually looks great without the bling. I'd rather my $ go towards an actual M. Bring on the M2.

I get that they have to showcase all of the parts, but that is a bit much. I do like the rear spoiler, and the interior looks really good.
Don't love the front or rear lights, but have yet to see it in person. Why do 2 series always have to sit so high? A car with those accessories, wheels, and brakes should not have a 2+ inch wheel gap. I didn't like this at first, but I can see potential for the G87. |

Instead of getting mad I'm telling myself I'm not the intended audience... But I love the current M2 and I'm hoping I'll like the G87 enough to buy one.
It's weird to see the new Civic and Integra being tastefully designed while new BMWs are hot messes of incoherent and busy designs. |

how are the fake exhaust tips, both on the stock m240 and with these m performance replacements, not being mentioned for the facepalm inducing cheap facade they are? no reviewers mention this, and i've not seen anything on the threads that ask members for their opinions. it's like bmw is falling all over themselves to keep up with lexus and mercedes on spending more money to look cheaper. seriously, since when did luxury brands start looking to the suzuki kizashi for inspiration?

Probably most people see the way it is done on the M240i as "acceptable". Whereas this kind of fake exhaust is seen as unacceptable.

Christmas is coming...
Well, now we know what to get the carbon fiber fetishist on your gift list this year.
Seriously, I don't mind the side mirrors and some of the more subtle interior bits, but the side skirts are gross. And who really wants to call out the shark fin even more with carbon? I'd pay them $100 to delete it and embed the telematics back into the body where they should be. |

I've ordered this car in Brooklyn grey, so really interested to have seen what the performance parts look like in that colour. External I'd be interested in splitter and rear wing, internal new steering wheel.
