E90 LCI conversion Tail lights on PRE-LCI. CODE SUCCESS!!

Hi all!

I just had a great experience with Dimsum. As he successfully coded my 01/2006 build BMW E90. I changed my tail lights to the LCI tail. Everyone says I needed a Foot Well Module. Well, I think I am the first person in this world who is able to have coding without the Foot well module. I was prepared to pay for it too!

Thanks for saving me so much money Dimsum!

You are the best!!

Jon

I will try to do the LCI headlight conversion maybe sometime soon, once I have time.. and if I can find a source for a new set of headlamps.

the coding for the outers is never really addressed. i'm sure it doesnt have to get done at a dealer.

but if it was done at the dealer, how much would it cost?

Dude, you dug up a old thread in the Hong Kong regional section. There are plenty on people who can help you in the US. Go to the coding section and ask there. You'll probably find someone local who can help, no need to get it done remotely.

Just disable the values below in CAS->FRM(NFRM)

WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H
nicht_aktiv

If your FRM doesn't have the values above, you will have to disable each bulb individually:

KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_L
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_R
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERW_RL_BL_2_L
nicht_aktiv
KALTUEBERW_RL_BL_2_R
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_L
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERWACHUNG_BLK_H_R
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERW_RL_BL_2_L
nicht_aktiv
WARMUEBERW_RL_BL_2_R
nicht_aktiv

This is it, fixes bulb checking (flashing) on the car startup and normalizes blinker speed...

(tested on FRM1 2006 build)
