BMW really are trying to reduce costs.
Not that I’m bothered, it was going to be the first thing I did to my new car, but when did they remove the xDrive badge from the boot lid?

Not sure but there was huge cost cutting measures for the M23. Here a shortlist of things they remove:
1. lower driver side cubby 2. driver and passenger seatback net 3. passenger side trunk net 4. passenger side trunk 12V outlet 5. ambient light in lower door pockets

Cheers. Mine has just arrived at the dealers without one (thankfully) but I noticed on another UK poster, their recently delivered car was also badge-less too. |

My car, straight off the transporter….(and yes it is xDrive as that’s the only UK option). |

Definitely not fitted to UK cars (and not an option to have it added)

My 2023 M240i xDrive came without the xDrive logo and I did ask the dealer at handover if this was new, but they said that BMW stopped putting it on the MY23 car (my car is definitely an xDrive - I'm UK based, no RWD option here!).
I am glad they opted to stop using it as I slightly prefer it without, looks a bit less cluttered and I'm not a huge fan of an xDrive logo.

1. lower driver side cubby
2. driver and passenger seatback net 3. passenger side trunk net 4. passenger side trunk 12V outlet 5. ambient light in lower door pockets In addition to the above. 6. USB C Charge ports for the rear passengers was removed. I know most people don't care, but this was a bummer for me. I have 11-Year old Twins, and this would have been perfect for iPad charging. Once my car arrives, I'm going to see if it's something I can order and retrofit from a 22. |

You would think it would still be on the U.S. models since AWD and RWD cars are sold here. |
