I’m not one who talked smack about the G87, I actually think it looks pretty good; and I never hated the G8X grilles like many do. But I think this looks really good and better than the actual G87!

What do you guys think?

You like what you like, no apologies needed!

Personally, the beaver teeth was the only BMW design element I never warmed up to, not even a little. I wouldn't buy a G87 with that grill design. Not for me.

Thank you!

Nice to hear insight from an actual G87 owner and obvious enthusiast.

I can completely understand the view on the grille. I’m glad you have the car as you like it!

I owned a 135is previously and really liked the kidney grilles. The M2 kind of follows that theme which I like.

While I’m not a G87 owner, I also appreciated the fact that the aesthetic follows the more classic BMW grilles, though I do like how this looks as well. A little more modern (for someone who is in to that).

You always hear how photos don’t do an object or color justice and in this case it’s definitely true IMO. Cameras don’t seem to pick up on all the little design details and the rounded edges. In person you can see where the car is not as hard edged looking as it appears in most photos.

After having seen both ZB and BG in person, I completely agree. I have yet to see BSM in person, but I think that’s going to look fantastic as well.

Would have bought a Porsche if that was the front end now. I passed on the M4. Happy with the more 'traditional' design now on the M2.

I don’t hate the M4 grill, but I also have no need or desire to render the M2 any other way that it’s current form.

Cool if that’s your thing, but I’m interested in the car I can show up at a BMW dealer and purchase

Totally understandable! I’m not BMW’s target market as the M2 (in any form) isn’t enough car for me personally; so this was just a hypothetical of if the G87 came in the rendered form.

Uhm something about that render that is not quite right - maybe the two large squares either side ? I really like the large grill on the M3/M4 that why I bought one in 2021.
I like the G87 front I’m a current owner - it’s more the back end that I find a touch questionable.
