Individual door panels onto a Harman Kardon car
Started building an M3 E91 a few years back then put it on the back burner. Now I'm putting stuff back together and ran into issues. The E91 is a 2012 iDrive with Harman Kardon stereo and the M3 parts car was a 2011 with individual speakers. I went to put the door panels on and obviously the wiring is different due to the crossover. From my understanding, I can't even get these individual speakers to function even if I splice these wires, what do you think my next best option is? I no longer have the original E91 door panels nor the M3 door wiring..

Crossover wiring is really simple when you only have one channel feeding the door , assuming the crossover's are in the doors. . There are Jehnert Door panels if you want to go crazy with speaker size.

The individual audio speakers will plug right in and play fine. The door wire plugs into the speaker and the tweeter plugs into the connector on the harness.
