First Post: Thinking about a new 335xi
Hello everyone. I apologize if I have posted in the wrong spot for a first post, but if I did, I'm sure someone will point me in the right direction.
In a nutshell, I drive a 72 chevelle everyday. I have been driving it since April 2011. Needless to say, its getting to me. Sitting at a dead stop with no air conditioning and no power anything has taken its toll on me. I'm currently looking for a 335xi with less than 60,000 miles for less than 26k. A dealer close by has a black 2009 335xi coupe with 44,xxx miles for 26k. There is also a white 2008 335xi sedan with 74,000 miles for sale by a local owner. I'm steering towards the dealer car because it's very clean with low miles (looked at it today). So... Should I pull the trigger for the dealership's 335xi for 26k? Or should I keep searching for a car with lower miles for a better price? Thanks guys. And I can't wait to throw some 19 inch F14s on a bmw in the future! The 09 what options are on it. It looks like a great deal on paper but Im curious its history and options. I purchaed an 09 XI Auto, Hifi, Comfort, Premium, Cold Weather, Dakota Leather, and HD radio. No Idrive I paid less but its had an accident in the past, which doesnt bother me in the least.
Let me know whats on it, Ill scour the auctions real quick for ya let you know if its a deal. |

Sorry. I mixed up my cars. Unsure of what options are on it. I think it has the premium package because of the silver trim along the interior. It's a 2008 priced at $29,901.00. Apparently its a 1 owner car. I did look at it today like I said and it's a very clean car that looks well taken care of.
29,901.00 seems a little steep for 44,000 miles though. I feel like you could find one for a little less with the same amount of miles. |

Welcome. If you get the VIN you can lookup what options are on it. I'm guessing it's not CPO so no warranty.

I punched the VIN into a few websites. I can't find anything that says it has a _____ package. I'm pretty sure it has the premium package though.
Still unsure about the price for the car. Should I look around more before I drop the dough? |

What do you guys think? Is it worth buying? I looked at the car and drove it and everything was very fine. There is very minor damage to the front bumper (maybe got hit by a shopping cart or something, or hit some sort of post idk), and the rims have slight scratches so I assume a woman had been driving it .

depends really what youre looking for.. id personally prefer the coupe over the sedan. i got my 08 with 55k miles for $24k tax and all that bs included from a dealership. Auto black on black no navi tho. sport package, weather package.. basically everything besides the nav and the comfort access.
