2022 M240i OTA Upgrade

So…I noticed one thing has changed with the update. Sport / Sport Plus mode suspension is tighter and holds engine revs longer.

I was told this is part of the "Function updates and quality enhancements."

Is anyone else noticing this as well?

This happened to me. I also lost traffic info.

Need to do a system reset.

Hold in volume button for 70 seconds and let go.

Give it a few seconds and then push the button in once quickly.

It will reboot iDrive and fix the issue

I just used the app to send a "horn" command to the car in the garage and it honked twice, but the app said something went wrong and it failed.

May need a system reset

Well !@#$%. After reading the lost data and other issues, I dread doing this update. The notification is showing on my dash screen. Maybe I don't tap it for awhile

Crazy. I got my car 11/20/21 and I still haven't received the update. But from the sounds of it I ain't missing out on much

All I can say is that I followed the directions as given by the ConnectedDrive team & it sorted the issue for me. Assuming that we are talking iDrive 7, maybe they changed the durations for the 2 series

on my car the update has been uploading from my phone to car and has been stuck at 53% for an hour's worth of driving time. Won't seem to go any further.

Mine was stuck at 1% for a while in my garage. I went for a 10 minute drive to run an errand and also got to 53% by the time I returned home. I assume it will resume on my next outing

Hopefully it works better for you. Mine won’t move past 53%

I’m thinking of canceling it and starting it over

I just sat in the driveway and let it do its thing w/o any interruptions. Only took about 10 mins.

So I updated to the 07/2022.558 update but it messed up my BimmerCode coding (which I expected and isn't a problem I'll just recode stuff) but also affected my 3D-Camera. I apologize for the red strip on the photos it's just the lighting and the camera.
Should I let bmw know??

After my upload completed, I just had to follow the on screen instructions.. walk away and lock and the update applied with no issues.

Yes, I lost my Bimmercoding, but just reapplied it and got everything I wanted back. phew.

got mine last year same month, never got any message for updates. I don't have the M240i logo in the gauge cluster either.
