You settled for the mid level even though you claim to have cash, not a good look
M2 wasnt out when I bought my 240. In 26 when they come out with an xdrive m2 I'll let you know how awesome it is.

Because I wanted a powerful, reliable, fuel efficient daily driver with AWD, and that’s what I got.

I'm done here, again I'll gladly blow by both of you in the 230i. Let me guess - neither of you has had a speeding ticket in your lives? LOL

I edited that for you, and I haven't had a speeding ticket in a while I can afford to take it to the track in my c7. Out of curiosity you aren't in fayettnam are you? My buddy adam owns BFI in cary maybe he can make the 230 faster for you.

He’s good, he’s already putting multiple car lengths on 240’s and probably M2’s.

Not worried about straight line but talks about his speeding tickets. No way in hell a 230 beating a 240 on the highway. Hes coming from a GTI though I remember how upset the GTI guys were when I got my new mk6 golf r. They wouldn't even look at when I was at meets, hes bringing that envious hate over to the BMW world. I think he was hoping for more firm handshakes than he got.

Tis true. Never seen an M2 around here, don't remember any boring 240's, but I got no problem hitting triples. I don't drive like a grandpa nor am I scared. I'm in the RDU area FYI.

I've never seen someone fight so hard for their 4 banger before. Nobody cares about your 230i, bro.

That’s the vibe I got almost immediately, the envious/buyers-remorsey (is that a word) bs talk about how a lower and far less powerful trim is better. There’s no convincing him otherwise. Just let him live in his own world beating Civic Ex’s and Scion TC’s.

I'm just trying to imagine how lucky I am that a 230i isn't the fastest car I have ever owned. Not that there is anything wrong btw with owning a 230, but thinking its a world killer like this moron is hilarious.

I don't care what you've owned if you drive like a 40+ female which is highly likely.

Also not saying the 230i is great, it's just a much greater value than the mid-range 240 which doesn't excel at anything.

LOL who drives with their hazards? Was it raining a tiny bit? - you sound like a grandpa. Also you're the one who claims to have tons of money; buy a Porsche dum dum.

The longer I interact the dumber you both sound.

You should know if you are a big time racer you see the hazards when the other car is out front.

But he has a 230 so he never loses and never sees hazards.

If you haven't seen my previous post - I'm not a hillbilly and will never drive at a track, not my cup of tea.

I'm a racer on public roads.

So what was your big argument about curb weight being a problem for the 240 and the 230 excelling around corners? You don’t have much to do on public roads besides a straight line..and the 230 loses in a straight line.

Hillbillies go to road courses? That’s news to me
