Hello,
I recently had to disconnect the battery on my 2010 E93 and after reconnecting it the electronic soft close boot has been giving me problems. It seems to work perfectly but going over bumps while driving causes a warning light for boot open and I can hear the motor latching and unlatching for a second or two before latching properly again and the warning light goes away. Is there a way to reset the system as it seems as though it’s just getting confused, or is it a coincidence that it occurred after the battery disconnect?
