X3 Question

We're significantly more active over here than the X3 section... and I know you experts will be able to answer this question. Wife's 2019 X3 needs new tires, and I'm considering getting some used winter tires, and switching her all seasons to summer and then swapping them like I do for my 335. I found a local set of 20" rims with near new winter tires, but her current set is 19". Aside from being a slightly larger diameter wheel with slightly smaller sidewall, I believe the overall dimension is the same. It appears as though those should have been a staggered setup with wider rears, but I can see on the sidewall that it's reading 245, not 275 and the picture is of the rear wheel. These would be coming off an M40i vs. my 30i. Do I just need to verify that they're a square setup? Any other weirdness besides maybe a little visual oddity because they brakes won't be as large as an M40i?

i was looking to get a x3 m40i awhile back and believe that performance wheel option is 245/275 but i'm not sure if there are m40i with just 245 square.

imo, almost every member with their 1st and only post selling is a scammer. i'd be quite wary as it seems you already are.

Yeah, I think the m40i should all be staggered... any idea if the actual wheel is the same size and they're just running wider rears? I don't believe so, but my googling isn't turning up much.
It's also listed locally on craigslist and he will meet at the dealership where they're stored, so that's reassuring. Definitely not meeting in an alley!

i believe the rears are wider. you need to get the style number, then it's easier to find out.

Given that they are winter tires, it's quite conceivable that they are running a square tire & wheel setup.
