2009 335i xDrive 6MT 89k - Price Check
Hi all. Looking for help on what to offer for a 2009 335i xDrive 6MT, non-sport, non-i-Drive, cold weather and premium packages, with 89k miles. It's a one owner, bought and dealer serviced - never modded. It was a first BMW for the owner, but the car looks to be in excellent shape (semi annual waxes and cleanings). I have not seen the service records, so I don't know the status of the HPFP, injectors, spark plugs, VCG, etc. He mentioned that he thinks the HPFP was looked at and found to be ok, but he's unaware if it was swapped. Sounds like there may have been an injector swapped as well, but I don't know.
This one is hard to price since many 2011s are priced similarly, but often have sport or I-Drive, so I feel this is a little high. But it's also a manual, which are very rarely on the used market here in the Northeast. He's asking $12,900 firm, but it was initially posted at $13.9k. If the car drives perfect, I'd like to offer maybe $11k (though really I'd like to offer $10k). Thoughts? |

Closing the loop on this for others. Seller sold the car to his friend for $12k before I could check it out.
I confirmed with the dealer that the car had original turbos and injectors. HPFP was replaced during the recall. I think this went for more money than it should have, with the local dealer saying he wouldn't pay more than $10k-$11k for it. |
