When the majority of enthusiasts of a brand say " can't wait to see what after market has in store". There is a problem. How can BMW think that these parts look good. I don't understand. They went from iconic to moronic. I wanted to like all new BMW models for the foreseeable future. Been an enthusiast since high school when my buddy got a estoril blue e46 M3 as his graduation present. These new BMWs have to wait for another company to fix the styling? I have owned the OG M2 and now have the CS. Since the original came out there was no question about what angle it looked good in, or angle etc… Because it was BMW. This new M2 is not. And I think the old school fans understand this and is the reason for the disdain. The new M2 as a whole is not for me but the m performance parts should not be for anyone it's an embarrassment.

FAST & FURIOUS Jap car. Where has BMW German styling gone.
That what happens when they collaborate with Toyota. The new Z4pra is a perfect example

Your right. They should have let Toyota do the styling. Keep BMW design people in Germany!!! Such a disappointment when the Supra came out. They took one of the best Cars ever ( mid 90's Supra) and fucked it every which way. Thanks BMW.

And the G87 community will laugh at the guys who spent double on a boring car.

The M2 is the Supra - you don't get that? Turbo inline six, coupe, rear seats, tuner friendly, etc.

The "best" Supra of the late 90's is exactly this car. In case anyone forgot, that car barely sold any units because it was deemed: ugly, too heavy, not "race" enough, etc.

People have short memories.

Not the same. Real Supra is JDM not something from Germany. They could have done a 100 times better with the new Supra. They just didn't. I always regret grabbing a 91 300ZX turbo and not the Supra back then. I was a Nissan fan which swayed me. Lol. 300 was awesome also. Jim Wolfe chip, Greddy exhaust niche wheels. T-Tops baby. Always loved me some T-Tops

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder...But not this Beholder

I'm sorry, but it's just not grabbing me.

I'm giving it time and trying to like it, but things seem wider and gaudier for no apparent reason.
Some lines are sharp & square while other are bulbous and round.
The design isn't flowing for me.

Relative to the headlights, they seem more inspired by the 2012 Audi A6 than BMW's 2002.

https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/ima...ts-31325_1.jpg

The whole design evolution from F87N to G87 is just garish.

...and as far as the M-Performance add ons are concerned - Rice-A-Roni

I'm just happy beholding my LBB 2021 M2C, but that's just me

I may be misinterpreted your post but itbseems youbare sayingbthis G87 M2 isntuner friendly? If so, no its not at the moment. Will it be at some point, for those who dont mind having their warranty voided, sure. But for now, its costly and time consuming...

Thanks for posting. The rear wing looks like a version of the e36 M3 wing, just a bit taller. It was a factory or dealer installed option, although I got mine from Bavarian Autosport painted to match my car. It had an integrated brake light. Very popular at the time.

I may opt for the G42 spoiler with the Gurney Flap instead.

Minor correction, those are not Gurney flaps as they share the same attack angle. The wing is just extended on the sides

Toronto Orange looking great

I like the wings. Not so much the strakes. Having second thoughts on the 963's - all the holes make them look fragile and busy against the big kahuna.

It's so weird they haven't fit a single launch spec ZB car with the parts. What's the deal with that?

I would consider doing the winglets and the G42 Spoiler but why are they all so big? I might need to wait for some aftermarket suppliers to come in with a little more taste.

I would like to see the full set of parts on a BSM. I imagine it would look like a dementor.
