It's Not A Big Deal But.....

So I purchased two different types of license plate frames from Amazon.
Not a big difference: the first one has a shine to it that matches the lower bumper while the other has a matte finish. The plate seems to be a bit off centered with the first one. Any opinions would be appreciated. YES I KNOW I AM ANAL. BE GENTLE.

I prefer the more subtle second one.

I prefer the top/shiny one IMO.

I just got pulled over a block from my house for having no front license plate yet. Oops. The officer spent more time complimenting the car than on the traffic stop lol.

Are you referring to the top one looking crooked? Well it is. The plate is not sitting straight within the frame. Look at the top left and bottom right corners in that pic.

I’m guessing the top one is hard plastic and the bottom one is soft silicone?

Thats correct. If I cant get the plate into the top one straight that might make my decision alot easier.

I have one that is similar that I bought from Auto Zone a few years ago. It isn't as thick as the top one but not quite as thin as the bottom one. It is metal. I think I paid about $20 for it. Since it is fairly heavy, I put some sticky felt pads behind it to keep it from rubbing. I will try to post a pic.

The crooked one would drive me crazy. If you can not straighten, second one.

Both the lower bumper and the M240 digits and letter are gloss black.
I don't think the matte one matches as well and looks out of place

Can you modify the gloss one so the plate sits straight?
