Transmission Fluid level check

Has anyone done a transmission fluid level check? I had an independent shop replace the fluid and just wanted to be sure the fluids are at the correct level. I now have access to a lift so it should be fairly easy. Any feed back would be helpful. Thanks!

Here you go. There is an older thread around where several of us discuss our fluid change experiences. I think TDI started it.

Nope, I hadn't flushed the torque converter. I have only went 16,000 miles since my fluid and pan change. 3 quarts (you mean liters, right?) seems low. Was the trans low in the first place? Hope not.

Draining the torque converter would leave you several liters low if you only have the fluid that comes with the kit.

Maybe you were low. My 35d drains the same amount of fluid as my 335d.

Nope Ivo did it infront of me, 3.5 qrts came out and fluid looked like new, we still changed it, I have 12 qrts for those who were concerned about shortage of fluid

Did you guys change transfer case oil? I assume it's the same atf fluid?
