N55 335i Exhaust options??
I'm hoping someone can give me a little guidance before fork over a ridiculous amount of cash for something that'll be mostly cosmetic or just give up lol.
So I'm looking for exhaust options or ideas. I honestly dont want to change out my entire exhaust system, my car came with the BMW performance exhaust. I just wanted the twin outlets but I've only come across the Remus exhaust system's that come with them. Because im happy with my exhaust note already combined with the catless DP i dont really want to fork out 12 bands for an entire system. So i tried to just get Tips.... that went super wrong the mechanic put them on and cut my tail pipes but mounted the tips just short of the slight bend in the pipe and the tips ended up sticking waaaaay out... (-__-) i was digusted when i arrived to see my car and him missing. I'll add pics but i removed those immediately in the parking lot next door. Has anyone ever found a cheaper solutions to getting dual tips? I already have the diffuser thats sized for twin outlets so its really something i wanted to do.. Any suggestions would be welcome (Other than get over it and stay with what i have) |

What's the issue? Just go to a different muffler shop and this time stay and control the process - tell them to weld/attach tips so that they don't stick out too much. On the side note - quad exhaust looks dated and gay. Get 90 or 100mm dual exhaust setup and be done. Sell your diffuser and buy a dual exhaust one

Personally I like the way Remus quads look if they're the black chrome or CF tips, and from what I can tell they sound better than most mufflers out there now for the n55/4. (granted I've only seen videos, never in person) |

Dual, 3.5/4" tips, muffler delete/PE mod and VRSF/BMS Downpipe. Exhaust is done!

Im very happy with the Circuit Werkz exhaust. Good bang for the buck for $500.
They say it only fits 07-10 N54 E90/E92 but I have it on my 11' N55 E92, no issues with fitment. I sent CW an email with info and photos that it will fit N55 cars and they even sent me some money back and a big thank you. Fills up the bumper cutouts perfectly, not too loud either. I actually think it was quieter than my PE exhaust.

I have the Agency Power and have been happy with it. It is on the quite side and appears stock but has a nice deep tone.
https://www.agency-power.com/shop/ca...mw-335i-coupe/ I do not have the single tip anymore as I went quad. Last edited by f30luxline; 07-15-2017 at 05:31 PM.. |

Funny how for some Remus race is too quiet and for others (me) Remus race and stock exhaust everywhere else is the max volume I'd be comfortable with. Only way to know if you like it is to try!!

I have an AE exhaust and it screams. If you can find one to pick up on the forums go for it! I also have the dual tips not the quads. The quad tips is the race version and I have heard it in person and in car, its LOUD.
