Super Irritated with my JB4 right now

Hello,

Ive been searching for an answer and still cannot find a straight answer.

literally from yesterday PM to this AM my JB4 took a nose dive. How? Beats me.

Car drove GREAT yesterday. Would light up the tires all day all the way home. Today? No boost. At all. No CEL. These are the FOR SURE things I can tell you.

1) No Boost leaks
2) Running E35
3) Has Latest Firmware / ISO / FF Wires
4) All connections are perfect. No loose Pins (just removed and checked it)
5) Im running on Map 5. The boot issue stays in ANY map
6) Im on option 4/3 as I do not have a BEF yet.
7) Car has been fine for several weeks. Once I parked it last night it didnt move until this AM when it had no boost.
8) Auto-Clear is OFF on the JB4 to try and get a CEL.
9) JB4 works - has power and can change anything in the menus.

Starts up and idles like normal. No roughness or shaking at all, not even under WOT when theres no boost. No smoke.

Mods:
JB4, 7" VRSF IC, BMS Intake, BMS OCC, AR Catless SP, CW Cat-back

HELP?!?!? Im about to set the car on fire!! Here is a log that I took.

Log would show all of your user adjustment settings. Not sure how that would contribute since you said it was running fine one day and the next zero boost. Were you making any type of adjustments or firmware update?

No, the unit is only month or so old. It says it has ISO Firmware 15 on it.

Again, very strange. Went from beating SRT8 Challengers to loosing to a prius by sitting over night.

I never touch it or plugged into it until today to see WTF is happening. Went from box to install to Map 5 and left it there

Took the JB4 out and car runs great. Builds boost quickly. Ugh this is annoying

Usually a connection issue. Where did you ground the JB4? Steering wheel controls work?

To the upper coolant reservoir mounting bolt

Yep, can switch between all 14 menus ect.

I know you said you checked the menu 4 setting, but go back into the steering wheel settings and see where menu 4 is at... it needs to be at 4/3 otherwise no boost just as you describe. Don't use the exhaust flap options! Only other thing is to double check the connection at boost solenoid. It will work, Terry and his team will help you out if the above doesn't fix your issue.

Its at 4/3 for sure. Terry and I have exchanged emails back and fourth.

As I had the JB4 out of the car, I took the thing apart including the plug and checked all the pins. I decided to clean all of them (they didnt appear very dirty but hey) and really push the pins in to make sure all was well. I did the same on the car, too. I drove the car with NO JB4 again to make sure it was making boost (it was). I re-installed the JB4 and BAM!!! It works again. MAybe it was a connection issue? Maybe it will do it again tomorrow - who knows! It didnt work the first time i tried the in-n-out -- so im thinking maybe the car connectors were dirty???

Went out - did some pulls, saw 18 psi - I was alot happier.

I am looking into doing the MHD BEF soon but I dont have an android device.

Just buy a $50 Android tablet at Best Buy or wherever. That's what I did.

Needs to support OTG. Post above this is the correct model, I have used it as well a long with couple other Androids.

Based on the log looks like an issue with the solenoid connector, bluepatch, not driving the boost solenoid. Normal causes are a loose pin in the harness, burnt wire somehow, or could even be a JB4 board issue if something was damaged converting it to ISO at some point or is the
old style N55 board.
