New shoes! E92 on SSR GT2.

After talking to forum member stretchNpoke (great guy), I was set on going REALLY wide with my next set of wheels. Unfortunately, I don't have the budget to get custom BBS's or CCW's at this time, so I decided to pick up these SSRs that I got a KILLER deal on. In time, I will be running 12 inch wide rims in the rear and 10 inch wide rims in the front. But for now, these forged lightweight beauties will have to do! Coil overs and spacers coming soon.

Never seen these on an E92, so I think it's safe to say I'm one of the few!

19'' SSR GT2
Rear: 19x10 ET 25 - 235/35 tires
Front: 19x8.5 ET 42 - 235/35 tires (replacing with 215/30 tires soon)

PICTURES! More to come when I get coil overs and spacers.

Bringing the new family home in the mini van. Soccer mom status.

Out with the old, in with the new.

I'm getting spacers for the fronts soon, lol.

Just a tiny stretch in the rear.

For test fitting sakes put the 10+25 on the fronts, you should have 2mm clearance at the strut. Just buy 2 new rears 12's and keep the fronts as spare or a coffee table :P lol

Great idea, but good luck finding some 12 inch wide GT2s! I would definitely have to re barrel the fronts. What does that typically cost?

you cant rebarrel those 1 piece wheels unless you want to saw it in half and reweld. its one of those wheels you gota buy new cause youll never find them in a 12 used much less in a pcd 5x120.

They don't make them anymore and I'm quite doubtful I will find any that are 12 inches wide 5x120. I'll be on the lookout though!

Good luck with your search. I know there is a slim to non chance but if there's a will there's a way.

SSR GT2 wheels were really popular with the E46 M3. Looks like you found yourself a great set! Too bad SSR discontinued these.

I completely agree with this guy...those wheels look like shit.

Do yourself a favor - buy some real wheels...something big.

If you're going to cut it and widen the wheel, make sure you do it on the lip section so you can have a 3"+ lip.
