M Performance Carbon Interior

Hey guys, I just realized that I don’t think I’ve seen anyone else post the frozen carbon interior for the 2er yet. I had it installed at the port sight unseen. I honestly thought it was gloss so when it arrived and was the dry I was a little disappointed but at the end of the day, once I get the carbon steering wheel trim too, I think know I will still be happy.

Love the dry carbon. I can’t seem to find these parts on BMWs accessories website. Definitely wasn’t a configurable option when I placed my m240 order.

Would you happen to have a link to these or a part number?

I had a quote today from my bmw dealer (Europe), parts are available and total cost (+tax and installation) are 1080€ (1230$ US)

Different types of carbon, honestly thought the price would be lower for the aliexpress version.

The dry carbon from BMW is very nice (I have it in my 340) and it does not have a glossy top coat on it. You can feel every single piece of the carbon fiber weave. It’s crazy nice and unique.

I'm not a fan of the M Performance Decals that they put on all of the M Performance stuff. I think it would look better without the decals.

That Aliexpress kit looks really good in my opinion, I like the glossy finish. What is the deal with the price, that seems low. I wonder if they just use a vinyl sticker or something to put on a factory core.

That AliExpress kit appears to be real CF, but it's a stick-on kit. ITs not a replacement like the BMW parts. The shifter cover looks bad, but the rest looks pretty good, just don't think I'd want a stick-on kit in my car.

Here's another posting that seems more legit with actual photos installed in a car, assuming it's their product. I agree the m performance badging doesn't really add anything.

I'll try to comb some g20 forums and maybe someone has had success purchasing these. For that price, I'd happily replace my piano black trim pieces, plus it includes the piece left of the steering wheel.

Yeah I figured that it had to be something like that. I'm not keen on putting just stickers on the trim.

I might do something similar if I find some good quality replacement trim pieces at a good price though.

$1200 for some style is a bit steep.

I assumed there would be overlays for much cheaper and AliExpress seems to be on top of it. I also like with this option that you can get different piece combinations as well.
