Actually doesn't sound to bad considering it has the OPF filters, defiantly will be making some changes to my exhaust though when options are available.

That factory exhaust isn't bad at all, even with factory OPF you can definitely hear the beautiful B58 sing and with a nice little overrun crumble at the end. I know lots of people can't stand in-cabin ASD and opt to code it out, but personally I don't mind it. At 6:24 of the video you really get to hear the (much improved) active sound design and to me it sounds amazing. Yes it's not real but I don't care, it sounds awesome. Put that B58 sound in the i4 instead of the sci-fi engine sound and I'll stop guzzling gas.

I didn't mind it too much with my F80, but shut it off with the F90 as the V8 symphony is just too good to augment imho. This sounds totally decent for what it is imho, especially with the OPF.

Can't say I'm interested in the car itself but credit where it's due - it's similar to my M2C in speed, at some points even quicker. Impressive.

Considering the price point of the M240, you get a lot of performance for the money. We are truly living in some amazing times. ICE cars are going out with a bang for sure.

AutotopNL do different kinds of videos. They started years ago with the 'silent ones' and topspeed tests, but they also do reviews like this one. Presenter Max totally overwhelmed and excited. LOL.
We are in general not like that(I am sometimes personally, but the Dutchies not so much ) only when 'we' win in sports.....

Cheers

the more videos I watch about the car, the more I get excited and cannot wait for my car... ugh it's a love and hate relationship.

I don't vibe with the looks, but I can't deny the performance is class-leading.

I had a chance to see one today-

Overall impressions-

1) its very long and large especially for a 2 coupe

2) there are a lot of odd angles

This will take some time to get used to.

Hm. Why did BMW lately restrict the top speed even further?
In the vid you can clearly see, that the M240 maxes out at GPS speed of 241, which shows 254 on the speedo. In the past the 250 km/h limit at BMW meant GPS/real speed limiter ... this is bad!

I'm sure with time and when tuning company's crack the ECU this will be able to be removed.

Just got to play the waiting game .

Congratulations! How did you find the brakes on the track? Some say they are underpowered for the weight of car and power of the engine? Driving mine only for road use they feel good even in spirited driving.

No issues at all with the brakes - I have the Tire and cooling package. I'm not sure but the brakes may be upgraded also . The car is very heavy but it hides it well enough . I'm coming from an ND 2 Miata so it's hard to judge too much.
