I ordered with Park Lane the end May. My car was due to go into production this week (week 2). I emailed my Sales Advisor today to ask for an update but haven't received a response yet.

Delivery was estimated as week 12.

Sorry no, it was scheduled for build week 2 of 2023, which is this week, and delivery week 12, which is end March. I ordered May 2022 but didn't get an allocation until the end of November.

Hold on production is interesting... My allocation came through last week and order was placed but my CA said not to expect delivery until May. He didn't mention a production hold being the cause but I wonder if that's why I'm looking at 5 months.

Ask him to give you your production number. If he can’t give you one he’s lying.

I have a production number and I was able to track it on the website. Says order placed or whatever the very first step is.

Well if it's true they stopped production and it's only the M240i due to a issue, I'd rather they stop production and fix it before I get my car than have a car with an issue that requires me bringing it back in to fix.
It's very easily masked imo by the radio but you can still def hear it. I'm holding off lowering the car because I have this feeling a dealer would blame the springs instantly. Who knows though car is still amazing.

Just a quick update on the M240i production hold.

My car was due to be built this week and my dealer has confirmed the car has been built and is awaiting transport. No mention of any delays. Hopefully some relief for those waiting too.

So based on your post history, you're looking at ~3 months between allocation and delivery?

I wonder if cars scheduled for production prior to year end were save from a supposed production hold? Personally I don't mind waiting... bigger down payment when the time comes lol.

Are there different production schedules for UK vs US cars? I ordered mid November and was told to expect if it May at first. However, the most recent email from my CA said production is scheduled at the end of February.

Apologies for the delay. I received allocation the end of Nov. Expected build was w/c 9th Jan but it was actually built 21/12/22

My delivery date is 14th March (and I can't wait). For me it will be just under 4 months but we did have the Christmas period in that so 3 months is probably a good shout.

Thanks for the info! Mine finished production about a week ago so if it takes ~3 months, I'm thinking delivery around late April/early May.

You have to ask your dealer or genius to track in the Uk.
