Yeah, brakes, absolutely for any track car...particularly one this heavy.

I've often heard, and always repeat, brakes should be the "fastest" thing on the car.

Anything you can do to pull weight out is a plus too, for better brake longevity and everything else too. On track days, pull out the right seat and rear seat, engine cover, and anything else that's easy to pull or heavy and unnecessary.

Car looks very good

Did you have to install a chip and code the M racing cluster in? Was it worth it

Could not agree with this more. Safety first, then durability, then handling, then power.

LOL I see a ton of cars at the track with no roll cage. He said he’s having one built. Everyone on forums thinks they are Mario Andretti.

So let me see if Im following this thread correctly. You are taking a car thats sought after for its power and performance and slowly improving it into a casual track focused car. How dare you sir. You have two options, when buying a performance car you are only allowed to drive under 30mph or lock it in a garage until you have spent $200k completely transforming it into a track car and even then you will have done it wrong. Safety is important but you are playing a dangerous game. When racing no longer becomes dangerous you are no longer racing, you are just getting groceries. Keep going, car looks good. Good luck out there.

I saw a review that shown really not great performance decrease while tracking in the summer. So I’ve got the ztk, how hard do you push it on the track?
