Rallye Bmw
So as i reported about a week ago my A/c decided not to work turned out it was a faulty blower in my vehicle & depressing my brakes made some annoying squeling sounds, So i schedualed an appointment at Rally bmw and dropped my car off yesterday morning my SA stated he replaced the blower & new brake pads and etc for the front brakes...im really happy this went well because i know for a fact members on this site have had issues between corrupt dealers not trying to replace things and etc..and on top of that they washed my car
Really satisfied with Rallye Bmw anyone in the old westbury area should check it out in Long island |

Good to hear someone not bitching about a dealer for a change. Glad they got all your issues solved to your satisfaction.

So far my experiences with rallye have been A+. Only have one headache with them regarding a tire that they replaced and my third party warranty co denied the claim bc the tire still held pressure, and I was suppose to be reimbursed for the tire but want due to the claim being denied. As long as my old tire comes back andd gets replaced with the one new tire and I get a full refund ill be very happy. Just hoping they don't screw me with this.

I purchased my car in PA and live in NYC now. I have had good experience with Rallye also until I actually had to pay for something or leave the car overnight. They have the no loaner policy if you don't purchase the car from them and they way overcharge for alignments. You can get a loaner if you have been going to their service center for over a year though. I had to coax my SA into giving me the alignment coupon and then got the better price.
Other than that I have been golden at Rallye. I am going to Hassel now for fuel pump replacement because I will need the loaner. |

I went to bayside BMW years back when my parents were looking to buy a 745. The saleswoman was a retard and kept telling me the car could park itself.
I told her it could not park itself, and if you could find me in the brochure where it can park itself, we would buy the car from her. After 20 minutes she could'nt find it and we just left. |

^^^ lmbo... they should really give the new hire Sales Associates a brochure of things they can and cannot say...
Good thing I already bought my car. Got it from an old school associate who retired a few months after I bought my car. Those guys at Daniels BMW in PA gave me some good treatment. |

Rallye is the dealer of choice if you are looking to purchase or service your BMW. I've had nothing but good experiences with them.

Ditto. Only good service and sales experiences from Rallye BMW. Actually I purchased from Rallye Lexus and Rallye Acura and had the same positive experiences with all of them.

I love Rallye.
I have a very close relationship with a Client Advisor (bought my second new car from him in less than 1 year), and a close relationship with the service department. The dealership looks great too.

Rallye, Long Island, NY
Horrible experience with buying a supposedly "certified" 2006 330xi from Rallye. Was defective from day one -- they never properly inspected the car before selling it. Immediately brought it back and they had to do major repairs. The defect was so bad that the car was dangerous to drive. And months later, after five repair attempts, it still is not road-worthy. Plus, the salesperson (Hodge) made numerous misstatements about the terms, features. After specifically telling him that I did not want the first gen. Bridgestone run flats because I knew all about the Bridgestone run flat class action suit that was pending since a lawyer friend was working on the case, they assured me that I was getting the second generation run flats. Yet they gave me the defective run flats anyway. I have nothing but bad things to say about Rallye. I think they are a bunch of crooks. I am stuck paying for a car that has basically been parked in one spot since day one since it is still too dangerous to drive and will be litigated. Manhattan BMW is a no go too. Took it there to see if they were any better than Rallye. Despite having an obvious oil leak, they claimed there was no problem. |

rallye rant continued
as it turns out, rallye sold me a pre-owned that, subsequent to the certification inspection, had bumper repair, which may have screwed up the headlight assembly, which was evidently defective from day one. Then, when they replaced the headlight assembly shortly thereafter, they messed up the installation so that it cannot be adjusted. They kept insisting it was working ok and refused to fix it so I had to spend hundreds on independent inspections to isolate the many problems. bayside seems to be a better choice.

Went to look around at Rallye today and had a terrible experience. First off noone was offering to help at all. They just stared at us for the longest time but didn't even bother coming up to ask if we needed any assistance. Second, the salesman came off as a complete jerk. Was really thinking of purchasing with them but if that's what I have to go through then I'd be moving on to another dealership.

Funny how quickly this thread went south for rallye
I do most of my own maintenance, but have had good experience (and know my dad has as well for 3 years now with his X5) at competition. though prices for parts are a bit steeper than others' ($78 for a coil today ), guys there are helpful and trustworthy when it came to servicing my dad's car under warranty. |

I was expecting Rallye to be a great place to be honest as they are the largest dealership in the Northeast. When I went in I saw a salesman just standing there with his foot up against the wall barely acknowledging us. Then the people at the counter just stared at us without asking if we needed help or anything. Took about 10minutes to get a client advisor and once we did he didn't seem like he wanted to sell a car at all. We were a very serious buyer as our lease is coming to and end in about 2 months. Guess we'll be looking for a new dealership to go to. Overall it was just a TERRIBLE experience at Rallye.

I think Rallye is spoiled with wealthy clientele who come back on a regular basis and get overpriced cars with little or no negotiation. Other dealerships on the island have more competitive prices.
My experience with service was ok. Always watch out for this dreadful valet parking companies. If something happens dealership is not responsible and it is a mess to deal with a valet company.

I had bought my 335i from Rallye. When I went in to lease my X6 I got some late 20's kid sitting there telling me it would be $1400 a month for a 35i or a 09 leftover 50i for $1425. I began my initial negotiation process, and his response was the price is what the price is and I quote, "If you can't afford it, there are many other cars to choose from." He continued along down this path for another 5 minutes, until I had heard enough. I gave a big smile, put out my hand and told him he won't last 6 months at this job with that kind of attitude. I walked out and about an hour later got a very apologetic call from the sales manager. I told him I was done with their dealership, as were my parents. That company lost a couple hundred thousand, all because of one idiot.
I leased my 50i from Manhattan BMW down on Wall St. Paying just a hair over $1000 per month. They even took back my 335i 3 months early and threw in the hard plastic floor mats. It was the best car buying experience I have had in a long time. |

Well, here is my update with Rallye -- they continue to refuse to take responsibility for selling a defective pre-owned that nearly killed us on the drive home from the dealer. Poor Bayside BMW for trying to fix some of the pre-existing defects, one of which resulted in the car going in for a two month service visit. I'll tell you, Bayside BMW service center (Mark) has been great. I dont know how Bayside's sales dept. is but it has to be better than Rallye's.
