not sure who Aziz is but some things he complains about are stupid, couldnt even finish the video.

Seat belt - ok hes short and thats unfixable
the msound button is the same as msound in profile, the difference he hears is between standard and sport+ engine mode.
touch screen fingerprints, well no shit its a touch screen, at least we get the controller and also voice control.
the speedlimiter sound can be turned off by holding thr set buttom or disabling or msport mode.

Weirdly enough a lot of the videos i've seen on "5 things i hate..." have always been weird complaints that feel like they are finding things to complain about just to complain. Which on the opposite side, means theres honestly not much to complain about with this car which is actually great.

Normally I would be the first to talk shit about some of these Youtubers but most of his gripes were pretty minor and reasonable. He spends most of the video talking about how great of a car it is.

The exhaust button doing nothing until you're either in M1 or M2 is super unintuitive and a bit annoying if you just want the sound without anything else.

I also enjoyed the scenery, Sweden is beautiful and I'd love to visit some day.

If I were wealthy enough, I’d consider living in Switzerland.

Can confirm it's an amazing country. But it is super expensive.

As an owner of a G87 I found myself agreeing with most of his comments. As for Switzerland, it is a beautiful country to drive through, but recall the speed limit being set at 80 kph (50 mph) and the monetary fines being some of the highest in the world. Having said that I found the `blue highways' in Colorado, South Dakota and Utah being some of the best driving roads in the world (few police and very nice people).

I think he probably needed to review the manual a bit since some of his complaints like the M1 settings not being to his liking seemed odd. If you don’t like it, change it, that’s the purpose for it.

He doesn’t understand what the buttons do. It’s a bit of a classic meme for new owners… he says the exhaust only changes volume when he changes it to “M1” and that you can change M1 by clicking the “M Mode” button.
He needs to spend more time reading the manual. But we get what he’s saying and the gripes are shared by us.

Do people not realize you can reach across your body with your right arm to grab the seatbelt in an LHD car? I agree it would be difficult if you only had a left arm, but . . .

Also, yeah, the shift aggressiveness can be set to whatever you like on your M button. No offense to Aziz, but this video wasn't really worth the watch.

Gripes are mostly reasonable, just somewhat under-informed.

I'll put it this way: some of his gripes are RTFM, yes, but let's also be honest here: ID8 shouldn't require hours of study in the manual to use. I'm a huge nerd and read the whole manual, and I still had trouble figuring some stuff out. This is a legit complaint.

Agreed. Most of his complaints are bang on. A deal breaker,? surely not, but for me, as a new BMW owner, some things surprised me not in a much positive way.

The seatbelt should have at least a seat support to bring it closer.
The exhaust button complain is bang on too, it makes almost no sense having a dedicated button for a function that won't be 100% avaliable.
For the, the most annoying thing probably is that there is no always on climate controls on the screen apart from the termperature. IT SHOULD HAVE A FAN SPEED ALWAYS ON display too. It's so infuriating.
Even the price issue i can identify myself with... M2 prices heres are very high. But it's a problem for all premium manufacturers...

Don't get me wrong, i love my car to bits, but i could easly do a G87 M2 5 or 10 annoying things video Matt Watson style...
