G87 shifter and boot need advice.

Hey, the oem parts # for shifter and boot for g87 m2 is 25117885209.
My question will boot and shifter from g8x m3,m4 part#25118097174 will fit g87 m2? To me they look identical. Thank you.

I too would like to see a better option than what came with the M2..
The boot material seems like a synthetic vs. real leather...If the M3/4 manual came with a better leather boot, I would like to know the product #... I did see a couple of options from IND but not sure it's a supple leather or just the same material with a different stitching option...any thoughts ?

The thing is im planing to do alcantara boot and shift knob myself, but new for g87 m2 cost around 260$-300$. But i found used for 120$ but it says for m3,m4 . But to me they look identical. Thats why I want to know if m3,m4 boot and knob fits m2.

OP what other info do you need? They should be the same.

IND lists one part for M2, M3, and M4. If you're still unsure, your best bet is to contact them or another retailer and ask them to confirm. They are likely to have the parts on hand and can directly compare them.
