Individual color on M2?
Tinkering around with trading my DD 330e for an M version. I'm considering a used or CPO M3 or M4 (2021-2023) but have also started looking at the M2. I should be able to order a new M2 for the price of a used M3 (or less). On BMW USA website popped up a frozen portimao blue it let me build but that doesn't show as one of the available colors. I also checked the BMW Individual website and it doesn't have the M2 as an option but does have the M235.
Can you order an individual color on the M2?

No individual colors. Frozen Portimao Blue and Frozen Pure Grey are available as colors to order for the M2 (at least they were supposed to be available beginning for November production)--but they've since disappeared

Thanks. I'd happily pay extra for frozen pure grey.

So I wanted an Individual color from the get-go.. not happening... decided on BSM since I had a few from the past.... Now that I have the M2, I'm not liking the how the details of the body just seem to disappear with BSM, especially with the CF items that were added... I'm now trying to determine the best wrap color to enhance the fender flairs and front elements that the black just hides (I did see a comment from a blog post that BSM would hide the hideous front end)
obviously I like the look of the car...A satin silver is in play along with a green/gold look... I have not seen too many different colors other than the original 5... what would be your choice if you could make a change ?? |

My 330e is Portimao Blue & my wife's X3MC is Marina Bay Blue. Both are great colors.

Check out RW carbon G87. They wrapped it green. I’m considering gloss British green. I would like to go satin but then I’m not sure what to do about carbon roof. There is a gloss aubergine purple by Evolv that I’m very intrigued by, and may go with that. Once one decides to wrap it’s so tough with all these great colors available. https://theevolv.com/product/gloss-aubergine-purple/ |

I've changed my mind and decided on a Toronto Red Metallic. Hope to pick it up Tues.

This. To me, it looks better in pictures. Is it a red, no: is it an orange, no; what is it, hard to say... There is one I have seen a few times driving to work and is underwhelming to say the least. |

Couldn’t BMW add a dark gray or a nice blue that isn’t Matte for 2024? Hint hint…
Adding two frozen colors doesn’t offer anything other than to people who really wants frozen paint!

I went with the BSM. IMO it’s the best color way for the car. I didn’t want another black car but the frozen grey wasn’t available some of the other colors just didn’t work for me. Plus the frozen colors would’ve required another 6k for PPF. I have an X5 with Skyscraper Grey / Cognac Interior and it looks great but again another non option for the M2. I also would’ve loved to see Dravit Grey make a return as an M color selection as a non frozen choice. The other gripe I had was with the interior Cognac selection is you get the seats and the door arm rest and that’s it on the interior. To me, it would look more complete if they had carried the cognac throughout the car. I think it’s all an effort to keep costs down and maximize revenue or push people to the M4 for those selections.

I would've had to ppf the entire car if I went with BSM. I also prefer Carbon Black to BSM, but really don't want a black vehicle.

Thanks for the numerous responses... this color (Matte Indigo Blue) caught my eye a few days ago... seems to match up with the blue seat stitching and maybe the blue calipers.. probably would enhance the CF... Got a set of Apex VS-5RS rims in Motorsport Gold coming in... could be a nice look.... |

I plan to wrap soon, and choosing between colors not offered on M2. That would be purples, greens, oranges. I’ve settled on Gloss Aubergine Purple. |
