Quick question about struts/ shocks
My service advisor recommended replacing my struts and shocks. I decided that whenever I needed to refresh my suspension I'd just use that as an opportunity to get coilovers. Are struts part of coilovers or would I still need to get struts?

Why would you decide on something when you don't even know what it is?

Struts and shocks are the gas-filled tubes that work with the springs in your suspension.
Coilovers is a term typically used to refer to a complete kit of shocks/struts/springs at minimum, and sometimes they also have extras (end links, top mounts, bump stops, etc). Some coilovers can have adjustable height and/or dampening as well.
