Five blinker flashes on one touch
Anyone manage to code this?
I used BimmerCode (3 Series) and checked the option, but it didn’t take after coding. |

I’m not convinced the new models take any coding from BimmerCode these days. Try the old 2 series option.

Have you been able to code anything successfully? I'm interested in coding the B&W audio settings and removing the warning on startup.

I can't comment on the 5 flashes from the OP, but I successfully coded B&W sound settings and removing warning on startup on my 2023 iDrive 8. Using an old BT dongle, no less. Used the 3 Series section of BimmerCode.

Cool. Just coded B&W settings, removed warning on startup, adding blue magenta ambient light to match my TNM and added startup in sport individual mode. Now I just need to figure out if I can code out auto low beams for good.

The Auto button when on will automatically turn the low beams on when low light is detected. You can simply turn off the low beams when you're in the car but there's no way to turn off the auto function completely.
For example, I was driving the other day in the late afternoon with plenty of light outside but when got stuck in traffic under and overpass, the low beams came on. I don't want that. I can simply turn them off when it happens, but when I startup the car the next time, the auto function will still be there. I want to be in total control of turning my lights on and off. |

I coded the five blinks. You must go into the menu on idrive after you code it to complete the process.

Just curious why anyone would want 5-blink lane changes? My granny in her ‘72 Buick makes faster lane changes.

That type of courteous indicating has no place in this brand. How dare you hold us to a higher standard.

I applaud you! The notion that part of driving involves communication with other drivers - whether through the use of turn signals or through eye to eye contact (which itself has become impossible with window tinting) - has gotten lost.
