reading over it, what's "dakota leather with sun reflective technology"? is the leather coated with something to reflect the sun heat to keep the seats cooled?

Edit: read over the whole thing:P it seems there's a special dye that does reflect heat off the seats by up to 20C!!! that's COOL

Great information. I bet the U.S. tech specs won't be much different. Looks like the only new color is the platinum bronze. Need to see that color before ordering. Pricing in U.S. should be out in 3 weeks.

Black high Gloss trim!!!!
I can't believe it!!!
I guess it's finally coming.
It will probably start off in the E93 as stated in the product guide and then make it's way through into the E92 for MY08.

Read closer. Its "standard" on 328, and NOT available on the 335. Likewise, you can't get Brushed Aluminum on the 328.

Why can't BMW get it right? They are even worst in the US. Geez, is it that hard to offer a "few" additional colors? All we want is Lemon (or even Jade Gray) and Piano Black as "regular" options. Come on BMW, offer it up to us USA'rs as well as our northern cousins!!!!!!!!!!!!

BMW Canada is retarded. For 2007, you can't get aluminum on any 328 (that includes sedan, coupe or wagon). But all the interior shots in the 328 wagon brochure show Aluminum trim! (there is a small note at the front Aluminum is "special order only").

You can add BMW NA to the retard list. They don't offer Piano Trim or Jade Gray on any of the 3ers. And you can only "special order" Lemon on the sedan. Freaking retarded.

At least we know the north american dealers will have the black piano trim in stock so 335 owners can order the parts from the dealers to swap into their cars.

How do we know this? And how much would retrimming an entire car cost?

Thanks,
-Brett

Purely an assumption on my part that since the black piano trim will be offered on E93 328's, you'll be able to order the trim separately (as a replacement part) through a BMW parts department, just as you would with any other north american spec part.

Yeah, but Jason this is the CANADIAN guide, it also mentions Jade Gray. I don't believe eithe have been confirmed for the US, but that would be awesome...

I guess you could ship them from Canada?

Any Canuck dealers have a car on display yet? Will the Detroit Auto Show be the first time it is publically displayed in North America. Sure hope one of the board members is there and takes some pics to post.

I am planning to be there, and yes it will be the public unveiling.

I'll definitely be posting pictures, and if I can find the battery to video camera maybe a HD video or two

Not yet. First Cdn showing will probably be mid-Feb at the Toronto International Care Show. Will expect dealers to have it around then too, but wouldn't be surprised to see it before.
