Houston Tx: Help buying a 528i

Hi,
(I posted this in the 5 series section but figured more ppl frequent this forum more)

We are planning on buying my sister a 528i. However she lives down in Houston Tx and we are in Canada. I asked her to go check out a dealer there. The dealer said they have only 1 2011 and its sold out everywhere. The one they have has a sport pkg and basics for $58k.

Are the 2012s out yet. Anyone know what the invoice pricing is for 2011 and 2012? Anyone know of a good sales person down there in Houston?

I don't know what dealership she went to, but when I was visiting my parents over Thanksgiving I had to run to BMW and they had at least a row of new 5 series...

saying its sold out everywhere is a sales tactic so don't fall for it...best bet for these cars is to pick up a 6 month used with less than 10,000 miles and they're supppperrr cheap

^ I figured it's a sales tactic. Looking for a 2012 (4cyl turbo) so it will be hard to find a used one optioned well.

Anyone know of a good sales person there. Can you buy out of state?

Honestly, I've been to all of the BMW dealerships in Houston as I used to live there. And I have to say that Momentum is full of shady, pushy, dishonest sales people. BMW of Austin is world better. And I have dealt with them before with good experiences. So my advice would be to buy in Austin if possible.

If you want the 2012 model then you'd be looking at buying new.

^ For a brand new car? I'd have to msg a whole bunch of ppl & negotiate down to invoice. I was hoping someone here would know a salesperson who is easy to deal with and not have to waste much time haggling over price.

Nway, think I found him. I'll let you know once the process is done.

Try BMW of Houston North, either their Spring store or their Woodlands store. I dealt with them for 6 years while I lived in The Woodlands and they're a great dealership. I can also personally endorse BMW of Austin and have a specific sales rep that I would recommend - PM me if you would like his name.
