Can you provide the V1 for an extra cost? Make an all in one package deal?

Question about putting the audio unit in the glovebox... Where does the audible warnings come from on the V1? With this unit in the glovebox how can you hear it if thats where the audio comes from?

It looks just like a headrest ... you can't see anything ...

How would this work for an E92 where there is no center headrest? Also, pardon my ignorance, but how does the radar detector pick up signal if it is covered up?

Garage List
so is this a secondary display built into the mirror, the unit itself? if it's just a display, where would you mount the unit itself while still remaining effective as mounting on windshield?

and if it's a unit itself, could you still send this back to factory for an upgrade down the road? and do mirrors still retain factory settings, ie auto-dimming?

We install the on the RT side ...

It picks up the signal the same way as you were driving behind a big truck or bus.

Here is a quick video for you to see how Integrated V1 performs vs Stationary V1 Mounted to the windshield

As you can see, there is no difference in V1 performance

V1 would have to be mounted in the dome-light compartment on e92 models.
