335 xi 2008 lease
Hi all,
just got a quote for an SG 335 xi coupe with auto trans., sport pack, ipod port, blue tooth, xenon and other standard features for the following: $4185 out of pocket $550 monthly $1847 taxes $625 bank fee $162 doc fee and $1000 cost reduc. 36months / 10k miles What you guys think? I'm finding out more details but does it seems like a good deal to jump on - there's the auto trans. rebate, another incentive rebate... and I'll recuperate some cash from BMW CCA. Appreciate all comments... Last edited by geroz1; 08-12-2008 at 04:41 PM.. |

Can't tell you unless you give us the MSRP and your negotiated price.
All in all, it seems in the ballpark.

I'm still trying to get the exact numbers but here is what I jotted down:
MSRP ~$46k Invoice ~$43k Purchase Price ~$42k also, I currently have a lease with bmw which ends in Dec, which they are willing to purchase the car outright and make the last three payments so that's somehow built in. |

I don't know the first thing about leasing. That's my comment.

yeah the $4185 includes all the fees I outline underneath and the cap reduction for $1k.
I can do without the xi, but that's on the dealer's lot with incentives... I still need to shop around but its enticing because they are willing to take in my 330i and make the rest of the payments... not sure if other dealerships would do that... |

We'll I plugged it in my computer and it seems to me that your payment should be around 510 or so. Not sure how their getting 550? The money factor must be marked up but i'd say thats not a bad deal. You probably could get more yearly miles and be at the same payment. See if their willing to do 12k a year and be at the same payment
edit, sales tax is 8.50 where you live correct?

yeah deff go with the 12k because 10k a year wont get you anywhere and 550 a month seem pretty good to me

I got a few more quotes...
Now its either a 335i sedan with Auto, Nav, Sport and Premium for $540 a month (money factor .000015) or the 335xi coupe with the sport and auto for $530 (newly negotiated price). Can't make my mind between the two... any suggestions? |

How much down did you have to put to get that $530 a month and how many miles on the lease? Also, did you do multiple security deposits?

i decided to let go of those two offers. Now, I found an executive, alpine white with Terra 335i, premium, sport and auto.
The lease is for 24 months 10k miles per year, down payment is 2.2k, which includes tax, first payment and bank fee. monthly payment is $500, including tax. The car HAS 14k miles (!#$@#!). What you guys say? is it worth it? it seems that most of the dealers around me are almost sold out of the 2008 models.. I'm going to test drive tomorrow. the car look great when I saw it with minimal if any wear (headlights started to show small marks). I'm thinking to either wait another three months until my current lease is up or jump on an infiniti or an r32... |
