JB+ Install and Review

Hey guys -

I took the plunge! Last night I decided to install the JB+ in my '07 e92. As not being a person that is really car intelligent I did have some difficulty with the install but all I had to do was call Terry and he had me take some pics and circled where the tmap sensor was and walked me through it. Thank you Terry for excellent customer service! It was right in front of my face the entire time but I just missed it

So about 9pm last night it was done, so why not go hunt down that '09 m3 that I have been looking to race. I am on the hunt! Not 15 minutes after leaving my house I run into him. Pretty funny shit! I totally smoked his ass. I could not believe the response, the power, the hunger my car had (and me). It is a totally different beast now. I could not imagine what a JB3 is like. I stayed out till 1am racing the shit out of everyone. Mustangs, corvettes, BMW's, Subarus, RX-8, Volvo. No one stood a chance. All of this and I have a slushbox!!!!!

Cheers to BMS, Mike and Terry! I have not had fun like I did last night since I was in College. I feel like a kid again.

Congrats on the install! Now did you leave the JB+ on stock psi or did you crank it up?

lol...sounds like you had a great adventure! Congrats. what setting did you have the JB+ at?

I had it on the default setting which is half way.

You had it on stock setting and you juiced a new M3? Not to call you out but I have my JB+ on 7/8 and I think I may be able to hang with an M3.. Maybe I am being moddest with my new found power..

wow very nice mine is coming is today!! did you have a tune before? what other mods i think it says your all stock except the jb+?

I have a DCI from BMS and I hope to hit the dyno soon if we have one down here. Not really sure if we do. Guess I will have to search

go m3 hunting again with a video camera. the m3 guys hate seeing these vids. You have the advantage at altitude it seems.. go take some more down!

Yes it is. Actually my elevation is almost 1 mile above sea level. 5,312 feet.

Sorry if i sound retarded...im assuming the high altitude=colder air=better for our turbos=smoking an m3

Do you mind posting the pics so we all know for sure where the tmap sensor is?

This is looking directly at the car with the DCI taken off. The m3 is not that fast here. They lose a lot more power to the wheels that a turbo car does because of the elevation. As for the physics behind it I have no idea I just know the facts and he got SMOKED!
