Not sure why transmission choice is being mentioned, its no charge for either transmission option.

How do you guys choose all these port add-on options? It wasn't on the build webpage. Is this something that you go over with your CA? I am mostly just curious. I already have my car and likely wouldn't have added anything anyway.

Mine is $75K with MP Suspension and spoiler, carbon roof/interior, etc.

Would be $80K if I specced the carbon seats.

Its not on the build page. You need to work with your CA as he needs to manually add them. For some items, like the M Performance Suspension aka HAS, your CA will most likely need to reach out to BMW NA and have the distribution manager add it.

Here is a link to what is available (I posted links for both 2023 & 2024 as not sure if one year may have different items however both yeats are interchangeable), all items may not be available to be port installed.

Mphas was at the top of my list, antenna cap was necessary with the roof.

Awesome Bro! I was at 68 ish and did the same thing once I realized I didn’t need the sun roof and then added like 5 CF options lol

I’d love to see that exhaust and photos of the car!

For those who want to see the price list for the port options, here it is. Look at the MSRP column as thats what they are going to charge you most likely . Some of the items are quite reasonable when you consider they will be installed by people who have done it a ton of times, covered under warranty, and no hassle getting an install set up.

Garage List
2023 BMW M2  [5.00]
Mine came out to 73k, but if I count everything I'm going to do within the first week of ownership then I will be over 80k.

Port install I did MP HAS and ACE 3.0. I had the dealership install carbon fiber and suede seat backs and carbon fiber armrest. I didn't do port install because I want to keep the originals.

I am doing a full Expell stealth PPF at 7.5k. Then I am installing front lip, side skirts, spoiler, and mirror caps from TRE/Auto ID at about 3.5k.

So, yeah, I'm guessing lots of people will be over 80 at some point if they do any modifications. I think I will have a pretty original car at that point, and I don't plan on selling any time soon.

Oh yeah, this doesn't include the 10 year 125k warranty or lifetime oil changes.

My MSRP was at 70 but got a nice discount. Honestly if I had the money to spend the 80k I would’ve went G80.

Im at $85.5k at the moment...$73k for the car (w/ HAS and air inlets port installed) plus rims, tires, spoiler, black M badge and IND "cf" roundels. Add onto that tint, color correction and ppf. After break-in, stage 2 tune "package" (tune, intake, exhaust, plugs, charge pipe) will be added.

How much of a discount did you get? I prefer the M2 over the G80 but it would’ve been nice for BMW to give us cooled seats and 360 cameras on the M2 for 70k+++

I am hoping it arrives in Brunswick next week sometime, it then has the port installed items to be done, then trucked to South Florida. My guess/hopes it will be at the dealership in the first week of September. Tires and rims will be mounted and ready to go on upon delivery, then color correction, tint, ceramic and ppf and the few body parts installed. If all goes well, should have car for pictures by mid September.

Working at a dealer I got a very generous discount.

It’s not the ventilated seats or ZPK for me, I just prefer the styling a little more and the interior options.

An extra 175-200 a month was out of my budget.

To me, a modded G80 is gorgeous.

In regards to getting “every option,” some are limited to, IF you got auto. You can’t have every option with the auto- like the fancy cruise control

I’m 68,250 with roof cruise lites heated wheel remote start carbon trim
Then add:
M HAS 2830
Front air vents 1100
ALPHA N boot lid 4300
max wheel budget 4000

$80,480 + front paint protection $2500?

Boxster S 95k
C8 HTC base z51 mag wheels 90k
Emira 105k

Can’t touch the value even with the stupid Alpha piece and the best thing is SWMBO LOVES it. I just gotta bring it home with the Alpha installed and tell her it was a special edition

Forgive me I’m not familiar with the ACE 3.0? I’m on the fence with adding additional warranty years. IIRC I did +2 on the 2024 X5 to take it to 5 years but looks like your taking it out as long as available…Are you aware if dealers have much flexibility on the longer extended warranties? Thanks!

In my first week-ish I added to the ~91 with full dynoprism ppf, litespeed wheels, and tint

Tint is Sunday, picked it up from ppf today. Gonna stop there.. for a while....

ACE is BMWs dash cam. This is my last car for a while, so warranty was a no brainer. My dealership uses Zurik. Dealer cost was 4,000. My price was 4,500. I'm not sure what your question is about flexibility.
