Hello , help needed , car audio , subwoofer
Hey all
Iv had a little hunt about but can't see anything that ties in with what I'm after so thought I'd ask the questions all in the same thread I'm a bass head , love bass simple as I have a 2007 335d e91 with the logic 7 system It's alright don't get me wrong but as I have the base high the speakers get distorted early on, under seat subs arnt sounding the best. I'm wanting to put a sub in the boot , 12" , 1000w rms , so will have a 1000w rms amp in there First question is how can I get the sub single to the amp? I'm lead to believe the logic 7 is all on optical signal ? Is there anyway I can tie into this to covert to cable? Once over that, will the alternator be able to cope with the 1000w amp, it will be fairly greedy , and I'm not gonna be running a capacitor , don't like them My Bmw is fully loaded , so it is quite a power hungry car as standard, Any one have any pointers? Cheers Jack |
