I'm lurking in here because I have an M340i that's finished and allegedly on it's way to the port. Hoping this ship might be mine as well but does anyone know whether SLP vehicles go by rail to Veracruz or Altamira or both?

If mine is on the WWL line that ship will be in Veracruz today. Going to Galveston a straight shot 2 days. Hoping

I’m hoping that once you guys move out of port that it’ll free up some space and mine will finish up QC and final assembly.

I missed the boat. Next one is mid April. I hope you east coasters are sailing. You will get your car before me. My CA told me my car is still at BMW waiting on a transporter. Crazy

The Glovis Captain is now headed to Port Veracruz. I'm not getting my hopes up that my car will be on it but I'm pretty sure the SLP plant normally uses Veracruz. There's still hope for those cars that made it to the port. Mine is still sitting at final assembly.

What's your tracker status? Mine stopped at final assembly and is still there for over a week. I was told the car is done and the tracker is not updated

Genius told me mine could stay at final assembly and then update multiple steps all the sudden once it's in transit. What frustrates me more is I'm watching multiple VINs on the tracker and cars the were built after mine are in "ready for transport."

I wish I could get the dang car out of my head until I get the call that it's ready to pick up!

i'm right there with you... this car is already effecting my mental health.. and it's not even in this country yet.. i keep making bold statements like if my car doesn't make this ship, i'll cancel my order, and buy literally anything on the lot.. just to not feel this way

first world problems

we should all be fortunate that we are in places that we can order a car like an m240 brand new. with what is going on in the world having to wait 4-5 months to get our almost 60k car is no big deal.

we all should have known there would be bumps and delays along the way

not to mention that most of us already drive pretty nice cars!

I had all these backup plans like buying CPO cars or finding one on the lot but my wife has always brought me back to the fact that I don't "need" the car" at a certain time and I placed the order because I wanted to have all the options and colors I want.

Ironically the car started on schedule and I think it will be here roughly when the dealer quoted, about 10 weeks. Since the test drive though I can't get it out of my head. First world problems I guess

You are right on. The World has a lot of issues and I am thankful for being in a somewhat safe place. There are needs and wants. These car are wants. Once we get them and drive them for a bit the thrill is gone and we buy something better. Another want. Makes us happy and the world goes around.
