Using Existing trims with Quad Tips?

Been having a think, I, like a lot of peeps on here, like quads instead of the square trims, but I agree with the other side that say it sorta looks unfinished without the trims, especially on the outside edges.

I wonder? what if i got the bottom parts of the trim pieces trimmed to fit around the bumper? It would require quite a bit of messing with to work but what do you reckon?

heres a dodgy photoshop mockup

It doesn’t look as bad with black car

However. I think the problem is the shape - it’s literally a round peg in a not quite square hole. That said, if it was a proper rectangular hole like the M2 it would look better Personally, I think using the existing trims is messy.

yeah a perfect world would be square but that means replacment trims, which would be pretty easy to do for a 3rd party manufacturer but i doubt we will see it

What we need is some companies to make different rear sections for our cars. There is a guy who swapped the 230 diffuser area with the dual round cutouts on his 240 looked good.
