Good looking wheels. It'll be a tough decision for sure.

Oh god, the square rear bumper really might be real…that last pic in the sun/shadow pronounces it terribly.

maybe read the message? It's on the basis that the reveal will follow suit from the XM's reveal a couple of weeks ago (an educated guess).

Those M3 tires looks mighty on the M2. 275 front and 285 rear if I remember correctly, that’s a lot of rubber on a 2 series….nice!

It's going to look mega, but it's in desperate need of some spacers.

Judging by the foliage the pics were taken awhile ago.

Interesting view of the headlights... the use the same headlights as the M240i but instead of the bodywork following the shape of the bottom, they give it a squared off shape and have to add something like dead space to the headlight assembly to match that squared off shape??

I think that was a bad design choice. Completely kills what how the designer wanted to frame those headlamps shown in the M240i and seems like an afterthought of how to fit the existing lamp design to the more boxy type design of the M2 front end.

If they were going to go with a dramatically different front design compared to the M240i, they should have chose a different headlight design... maybe a 2 bulb someone mentioned in another post.

Agreed. Dual headlights and vertical grill slats would transform look of the front

Man that's going to be an interesting view from that angle when we see final and better pics. So many crazy angles going on there with the headlights and the grill and then the two intakes on each side.

Good looking wheel design. Nice to see silver and much less black. Like driving on 4 empty dark holes lol is black.

No final word on date/time for a 'reveal'. The only press is via BMW Blog about 12 Oct specific date.. They feel this is the date for the M2.

Via BMW Press(English) - https://www.press.bmwgroup.com/globa...e-salzburgring

October announce and April market launch. This information is fairly well known now it appears.
