Initial thoughts with only an hour of listening ... Difference isn't huge but it's definitely noticeable. Everything is a little better. Smoother, more natural, more detail, a little more laid back. I was afraid it might have been bright (traumatized from metal domes lol) but it's the complete opposite. I haven't measured it to see what the curve looks like.

Did you by chance get to hear the scan ring radiators and if yes how do those compare?

It's tempting to try a new tweeter, but I still can't find much fault with the $20 Vifa OT19's tdgesq recommended to me a while back.

I never felt anything was wrong with my previous tweeter, they sounded really good. Miles better than the Focal K2 tweeters I originally replaced. Just thought I'd try something new, these just kick it up another notch.
I'm sure there is still room to improve a bit... Eq, crossover settings, etc.

Those are tough to beat; pretty much impossible to beat for the price. The top end dispersion of the small format ring radiator seems to be the key, which is why I've also been very interested in the SS ring radiators. I'll just buy a pair and test them.

Would these be miles ahead of Morel MT23?

"I am coming from Morel mt250's. I am very happy with the Berylliums. They are incredibly open and not harsh. I have them off axis and haven't had to do much tuning for them to sound right. I have had ADS & Morel mt 12, 22, 23 and 250's in systems for myself and my 2 boys. These are the best tweeters I have heard. The Morel 12's sounded terrible to me, but the 22,23 and 250 are all nice tweeters. The Berylliums just seem to not hide anything. I feel they are worth the premium over my Morels."
