Bulbs for E90? GP Thunder? Nokya?
Hey,
I was wondering, for halogen headlamps what kind of bulbs are the stock ones? What is the voltage and wattage of the original stock bulbs? Reason why I ask is that I want to match a new pair of bulbs with the same specs as an aftermarket one. I'm planning to get GP Thunders or Nokya for my E90, which wattage bulbs should I get? I don't want my housing to melt or anything! Which is the better brand? Thanks in advance! |

check your driver's manual. They tell you the bulb type and probably even how to swap the bulbs

Stock ones are GeneralElectric...if you want to upgrade them, buy Osram NightBreaker or Philips Xtreme Power +80%, dont know where can you find them but i hear that they are superb. I have mounted Philips VisionPlus +50% and the difference is pretty small, i think that this two that i have reccomended would make BIG difference compared to stock ones. Oh yes, they are H7 - 12V-55W , both of them and position light is W5W type.

Due to the bulbs being pretty spankin' new there's not many pics available yet but here's one.
Also, nothing a quick google search couldn't resolve! Roger |

Actually you are wrong.. i am offering a product that others were seeking in the forum. it just happened to be mine. if someone else was offering them i would have quoted their merchandise as i have done before. supply and demand my friend.. isn't economics great?
