Dang, thought I was gonna be the first to see/post a link to this video. Nice to see they are starting to hit dealerships, looks like they're arriving in Canada before the US.

Does the silver piece between the grilles actually serve a purpose or is it just a design element to have them connect?

Best color for this car. Really emphasizes the rear curves

Camera is mounted there for I'm assuming the surround parking or whatever uses the front camera.

The shadowline makes that area and trim all black while the m perform grill changes the outer edge and that center area to carbon fiber

I can't wait until the dealers start getting some M240's in their inventory. I'm looking forward to seeing it in person.

Sheesh dealers are marking them up???

I ordered mine from a large dealer here in Santa Ana and was informed they wouldn't/can't go over MSRP (roughly $54k).

There's one down the street in Irvine that marks up every vehicle due to the lack of inventory and due how close they're to the more "affluent" areas.

I'm still having PTSD from when they quoted me for $939 a month for a M440i after 6k down. At that price point you begin to consider the M4… anyways, I digress.

Ya, why not? It's about time we put some heft behind the brand. If Benz and Porsche, hell, even Kia can ask for over MSRP, why can't we? After all, we are a luxury brand that has more demand than any other brand out there right now.

And yes, I just recently quoted an M440i GC which came out to $949 a month at sticker. It's the lack of rebates and low residual coupled with no discounts.

Plus M3/4 are no less than $10k anywhere you go. Leases on them are around $1400-$1500 a month so being under a grand for the 440 is a good deal in comparison.

I gotcha, I think it's just that I can be frugal, but then you get what you pay for. Plus the market has spoken and this is a trend across the board.
I literally just had a convo with a coworker who is considering a Raptor that's $20k over MSRP.

Coming from a Shelby that I got below MSRP in 2018 has me with a different mindset. I guess this literally may be the price I have to pay to break into the BMW space.

Don't listen to this guy fellas, if you want a car at MSRP (M3/M4 included), DM me.

Hahaha What's inventory? . The dealers out here have basically empty lots.

If anyone thinks that BMW's leases are bad check around. I also crossed shopped a Macan (I know VERY different...). But a mildly equipped Macan w/$4k due was still $900/mo whereas my $53k M240 Will be $830+/- with nothing down. Much better, but nothings cheap anymore.

My guess is most of those are sold orders that haven't gone through PDI yet.

The back of my store looks similar...more cars in the back than the front LOL.

LOL - what dealership do you work for?

Unlike Porsche and MB which have several highly desirable models, BMW really doesn’t offer anything nearly as engaging.

Personally I would not pay over MSRP on any car unless its a limited production item and something I plan to keep long term.
