I was playing around with the drive modes and I believe setting it to sport "individual" and you can then move the settings to comfort for transmission and have the sound and fury without the high strung gearing.

I test drove this car

i have a M340

This feels really really fast - taking corners the rear is planted wants to give out a tiny bit.

Interior is the identical to an M340

But with an exhaust this car is gonna sound great.

How does it compare to M340I with regards steering, suspension and driving fun?

Went back and forth on Thundernight and finally settled on classic Alpine White with Shadowline. Looking forward to getting the car soon (week 50 build).

Looks great. I have been playing around with different builds and Alpine white with the shadowline, black wheels and cognac sensatec is currently top of my list.

....plus a lot of options!

Honestly in my opinion it feels faster than the M340. It's without a doubt fun. i was the person saying it looked ugly in pics. After seeing it in person it's a great looking car we'll done BMW.

i know it's the same engine as the m340 but feels a lot sportier. almost as much power as m2 C but a lot more tame. I'm wondering how these things are gonna lease out.

Also the rear looks a lot better in person. I love the power dome on the hood. i can only imagine what the new m2 will look like.

still not a fan. certainly glad i still have my OG M2. i just do not like the current design language from BMW. hopefully the new M2 will look better. those tail lights look like cheap pepboys aftermarket lights and the front bumper is just terrible.
