MP HAS - factory drop

I know these are adjustable, but does anyone know how low the factory drop (port install) is as standard?

I believe someone once said in another thread it is 20mm. So basically BMW lowers the car half way down.

Standard drop at port install is 10mm.

Considering dropping mine down another 10mm which is about max for the MP HAS.

I heard 10 mm as well from a few people just wanted to double check since I’m thinking about putting it on. The wheel gap is such an eye sore after a while of ownsership. I just didn’t wanna make it any more stiff than it already is but from what I hear from a few people that have it they say it kind of feels the same as stock. It’s more about just looks and small handling improvements. Thoughts?

I cannot compare to stock suspension but I can say compared to my last car running progressive springs this is much smoother. Handles great, not overly harsh. And if it were harsh I wouldn't consider dropping the HAS down lower like I currently am contemplating. Stock height I agree leaves some to be desired. The HAS kills that even at just the port installed height.

Since I already have my G87, I’m gonna do it after the port option Thanks for the information. Much appreciated.

I had assumed you lowered the rest of the way after the fact. You were able to have it port installed all the way down?

Factory drop

I also ordered the HAS and asked for a 15mm drop... I was informed while the car was at the dock that max they would drop was 10mm..
Did not make sense to me that they, BMW would not accommodate the request since we know that 20/25 mm is doable... car arrived at the dealership and they dropped it the additional 5mm at no cost... I'm good at 15mm.. remember when adding a front splitter, the additional drop makes the entrant angle more exaggerated then just the drop..

Can you measure from the wheels well to the ground to give me an idea of what the stock height is?

Several people with port install showed photos and found the BMW technicians left the HAS kit at max low.

Interesting. And you wouldn't have known otherwise if you hadn't went to try and go lower!

Nope. It looked pretty good but was just going to drop the slightest amount.
